We understand that there can be a lot of unknowns when you’re coming in for a medical scan. Please look over our list of frequently asked questions. If you don’t find your questions here, please reach out to us. We are happy to answer any other questions you may have.

How can I request a copy of my films or images?

It is our pleasure to send your provider a copy of your medical records after your appointment. If you need additional copies, give us a call at 541-344-9500, or request them online.

Is there a certain amount of time my films, images, and reports are kept on file?

At Willamette Valley Imaging, your actual images are kept for a minimum of 7 years. Your reports, however, are kept indefinitely.

Does Willamette Valley Imaging treat children?

Yes. We understand how important it is for your child to feel safe. Feel free to give us a call, ask for Kim, and she can set up a time that’s best for you and your child to visit our facility and meet with our technician.

May I request a price quote before I have my imaging study?

Yes, all patients receive a price quote in advance when the appointment is scheduled.

What forms of payment does Willamette Valley Imaging accept?

WVI accepts major credit cards, debit cards, cash, CareCredit, and are contracted with many insurance companies. Learn more.

Can I arrange to take a tour of Willamette Valley Imaging facilities?

Absolutely. Give us a call at 541-344-9500 Ext: 0 and we will arrange a tour for you.

How long does it take to get my results?

Our Radiologists read and provide reports typically within a couple of hours of your scan. However, your results are provided to you by the ordering provider. You will get your results as soon as your provider can meet with you to discuss.

Are financial assistance programs available?

Yes. We accept CareCredit, and we can also establish workable payment structures with you, as needed. Feel free to check with us at the time of scheduling for other possible programs.

Will Willamette Valley Imaging submit a claim with my secondary insurance plan, as well as my primary insurance plan?

Yes, we will submit a claim to any secondary and primary insurance plans you may have.

Do I need prior authorization from my insurance provider?

Most of the time, yes. We will work with your insurance company and you to make sure it’s properly covered.

I've forgotten my appointment time; how do I find out when to arrive for my imaging study?

We are right by the Starbucks off Delta highway. When you are headed north on Delta, go through the Green Acres intersection and then at the very next right. We are next to the Starbuck off Delta Hwy.

What are your services?

We offer MRI and CT scans for patients. We offer only the best services and are committed to ensuring our patients have the best possible experience.

What is needed for Willamette Valley Imaging to bill my insurance company?

As a convenience to you, we will submit your claim, and any secondary claims, to your insurance company under the benefit coverage you specify, including workers’ compensation, auto insurance, and most personal injury. WVI is an approved provider for most major insurance carriers and health plans.

Can I call the main office with billing questions?

For questions concerning billing and payments, you may call our billing specialist at 541-344-9500 Ext: 3 You may leave messages after business hours which are: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Pacific Standard Time.

What if I'm not insured?

If you do not have insurance or our care is not covered by an existing insurance policy, we are happy to take care of you. We will work with you on payment options. Oftentimes, payment plans may be set up for the services rendered.

What if I'm on Medicare?

We will bill Medicare for you. We will also bill secondary insurance carriers for you. All co-payments, deductibles, and non-covered services are due at the time service is rendered.

What if I'm eligible for Worker's Compensation?

If your injury is work-related, we will verify the claim number and carrier name prior to your visit in order to properly bill the worker’s compensation company for you.
